Now here's some technology that I never thought I would use... What with having a speed typing rate of about 85 words per minute, I figured I could type faster than most other people, let alone any newfangled technology but my was I wrong!
So here I am talking into my computer at what I believe is approximately 160 words per minute! 160 words per minute!! Think of the possibilities! And what is the name of this awesome technology that I am referring to and using as I speak right now? Dragon NaturallySpeaking (preferred 9.5), of course! I just got it this evening and am trying to get used to it and it's definitely a bit different than typing. But I'm sure once I get the hang of it it'll be an amazing tool that this virtual assistant is going to be using on a regular basis.
Okay, so here's a quick synopsis of what this little baby can do. It recognizes not only what you'd speak, but also various commands within e-mail applications, microsoft word, and in Internet Explorer/Morilla Firefox. And it is very very accurate; it also allows you to put in commands such as often used, website addresses, logos and other documents.
So if this real estate virtual assistant were to give it a thumbs up, it would probably be two at this point and definitely recommended for others.
