Whenever I clean out my closets, pantry, office, storage room, etc. I end up feeling much lighter mentally and my energy level soars. No doubt that for many the process of decluttering and throwing things out can be challenging, both in terms of making the time to do so and often just in terms of throwing something out. (My brother is one who is congenitally incapable of throwing anything out.) Decluttering and organizing isn't only for when you are getting ready to sell your home.
