So many transitions in life, aren't there, Kathy?  The small ones I call chapters. The big ones are like a completely different life.  I have a personal blog called My5thLife.  I haven't written in in for a while but have been thinking lately of reactivating it. 

Sometimes I think the word mindfully is overused to the extent it begins to lose its effectiveness. It becomes a trendy word. I tend to think about everything and analyze all aspects of my life constantly so I am plagued with it, my cross to bear, so to speak, but to talk about it openly or expect other people to follow suit is odd to me.

I do like the thoughts in your blog today, Kathy. You will probably see a different experience in mine, LOL.

We welcome change in so many ways...and sometimes when looking out at the 360 perspective, I feel that we are not changing ourselves (all of us) fast enough...but then I realize that we are all doing our best...Your post brought back the memory of a Mammas & Papas song called Look Through My Window, here is a stanza,

We both knew people sometimes change
And lovers sometimes rearrange;
And nothing's quite as sure as change---
And the rain beats on my roof...

Kathy I can understand the questions and concern about the regular walkers you no longer see, I know I would be wondering the same thing.

Kathy what great observations and indeed sometimes people change routines, walking is a great way to see the same people if you walk at the same time. I keep changing my routines...stop then  restart and different routes funny how the neighbors say to me "oh you are back to walking?", Endre

Can't speak for everyone else, what I can say is that life and changes for me happen daily.  January is going to be a very busy month 

I've never been a fan of change and have been slow to accept it on many counts. I'm getting much better and still a work in progress!
