- Before you even finish real estate school, begin making a list of everyone who knows you.
You may not even know who knows you, so make a list of who you know, and that will cover most of them.
Everyone! People you have worked with, people you are working with (if you are continuing to work another job)
Everyone you know from church.
Everyone you went to school with, (if you are under the age of 25 years, and in the same city you went to school).
Everyone your parents or other relatives know.
Everyone of your neighbors, everyone of your neighbors who used to live by you if in less than five years.
- Visit two or three Toastmaster clubs and join your favorite.
Within six months join a second club.
You wonder why Toastmasters, you never heard of it, right? Least expensive schooling most beneficial ever.
In the past five years I have earned OVER $100,000 in commissions from being in Toastmasters.
Giving a seven-minute speech: 3 Things Most Buyers Don’t Know. 3 Things Most Sellers Don’t know. 3 Things Most Buyers Should Know. Etc.
Someone walks up after the meeting and asks: “Would you help me buy a home?”
- Almost every where you go, and strike up a conversation, gently let the person know what your occupation is. Ask! Ask! Ask! Just don’t be a nag.
