Active Rain 's Challenge – Community Guidelines
By Patricia Feager, 1/9/19
“ActiveRain is built for Community.” It clearly states:
- 1) Have fun with the site.
- 2) Let ActiveRain staff and other members know what you are thinking.
- 3) Get connected.
Members of ActiveRain have written blog posts that contains volumes of the integration of real estate and our life experiences. From each other, everybody learns! Some get personal and use their muscles and make miraculous body improvements to illustrate how beneficial staying healthy is to keep up with the business and stay flexible. Others ponder and fill our imagination with inspiration, beautiful photographs, simply motivation and/or personal stories about life experiences. After all, getting to know other people will build relationships! From a vast array of properties, we see mountains, rivers, deserts, cities, ocean views, murals, seascapes, land, commercial property, residential homes, and architectural wonders. There are individuals who teach and educate us using Marketing Reports, Trends, Absorption Rates, and the Art of Marketing You in unique and creative ways. Actually, it all depends on the writer and comments soon tell us whether or not stories are acceptable or welcoming.
Per the Community Guidelines, it was designed for the purpose of professionals “digging in and having fun with the site!” Together, we do learn more. However, nothing is written in stone and there are very serious rules within these Community Guidelines to keep us out of trouble which should be adhered to at all times. Reviewing the dos and don’ts including our successes and failures can make some stronger or others decide to take a break or leave for a while or forever. It all depends.
Something to remember is that we are all only human and everyone keeps learning. When we give respectfully, we receive and that’s the gift, the beauty of ActiveRain. Always remember, being a member of ActiveRain is a privilege. Making connections is important. When it comes to Community, there is nothing better than the warm embrace or sense of belonging and that’s what it’s all about. So, put your right hand in; then your left hand in; and shake it all about, do the hokey pokey and turn yourself about. If you’re too tense and worried, shift gears. Be a Team play. Read to learn on ActiveRain. Enjoy the camaraderie of friendship. Enjoy the ride! Our lives are too short. Have fun – that’s what it’s all about!

"A true community is not just about being geographically close
to someone or part of the same social web network. It's about
feeling connected and responsible for what happens. Humanity
is our ultimate community and everyone plays a crucial role."
--- Yehuda Berg, International Speaker & Author
