Wordless Wednesday: Sculpture Suitable for a Carlsbad Restaurant

Pot sculpture at 264 Fresco in Carlsbad Village

We had dinner in the village the other evening at 264 Fresco and I noticed this very cool and whimsical sculpture outside the window where we were sitting.

It was a photo op too good to pass up when leaving. I couldn't see any signage so don't know who to attribute it too, but I thought it was rather suitable for a fine Italian restaurant.

There is lots of public art in Carlsbad Village...you just have to be on the lookout for it!

And the food was pretty darn good, too! Worth a visit if you are in town. The restaurant has been there for quite some time and changed ownership in the last several years. And it's undergone a fabulous remodel, too!

Wow! That is an impressive piece of art. it is fascinating to look at, but I wonder about rain collecting in the pots. It is just how my mind works lately.

That is very interesting and it would certainly attract me to wanting to try that restaurant over something else nearby.
