When I was younger I was the first one to create some pretty big self defeating prophecies. For example, I could procrastinate when I knew a stock was a good purchase. I would research the stock, and I would wait for it go go up, and up, until I purchased some of the stock before it was too late, and I did not have a chance to get on the band wagon. In all honesty, I should have reacted sooner, faster, and I should had listened to my gut feeling rather than let others talk me out of it.
The years went by and I became very savvy on when, how, and what timing to purchase stocks. The irony is that the market changed and it became a whole new playing field of going from tech stocks to futures, from top performers to commodities.
The fact is I knew it was the right time in my heart, and I should have made the purchases. The same holds true today. The time is right now, and time can become more of a commodity at times than we often want to admit. It is the one thing that we will never be able to reclaim in our life.
The truth is time waits for no one, and when opportunity knocks, well, you better answer the door.
