SouthPark Charlotte Market Report FEB 2019
The temperatures may be cool in SouthPark (Charlotte NC) but, the real estate climate is not! While number of units sold may be down a tad bit, prices continue to show appreciation in the SouthPark community.
SouthPark remains one of the most prestigious addresses in Charlotte. One of the main draws to our community is the wonderful proximity to everything Charlotte as well a lifestyle that is highly desirable. We are 12 minutes from Uptown and 12 minutes from Ballantyne (to the north and south of SouthPark) and a even a little closer to Cotswold on the east and Dilworth on the west side. You really can't find a more ‘central’ location than SouthPark - we joke that SouthPark should have been nicknamed 'Center City' instead of Uptown! Because of the superior location, SouthPark continues to thrive as one of the southeast’s largest live/work communities as well.
SouthPark's housing styles range from 1950’s ranch homes to newer, custom million- & multi-million dollar homes. Some of our most well-known neighborhoods in SouthPark are:
Morrocroft (gated)
Seven Eagles (gated)
The Harris YMCA, located at the corner of Sharon and Quail Hollow Roads, is also a legacy from the Morrison/Harris family. Read more about SouthPark neighborhoods here.
