Pickleball on Cocoa Beach
Pickleball is a combination of badminton, tennis and table tennis and is now offered at the Cocoa Beach Rec Center, 321 Ramp Road, Cocoa Beach, Florida.
Indoor pickleball is offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am until 2:00pm. Cost is $2.00 per person or you can purchase a punch card for $20.00.
Equipment is provided and all levels of skill are welcome.
Great fun. And almost anyone can play.

Hi Lorrie, Pickleball seems to really be catching on everywhere. It's been available here on the beach for quite some time and we are happy to have it at the Cocoa Beach Rec Center now.

Hi Sheila, Our snowbirds love the game so it's not surprising that they are taking it home with them and it is becoming better known. The Cocoa Beach Rec Center offers it indoors so people can play year 'round...does Tanglewood have indoor also?

Tanglewood is a music center, summrt home to the Boston Symphony and Pops and many comtemporary popular artists. I work there summers and many of the folks I work with have told me about it. I think there are indoor venues here too.

Endre, It is a game for all ages and very popular with retirees and snowbirds here so you would be fine. Don't sell yourself short! You can google "Pickleball" without the quotes to read about it and watch the videos to see how it is played.

If it's ever offered evenings or weekends, I want to try it. I'm a bit surprised at how many peole have never heard of it...did not realize it was a Florida thing.
