So you may be wondering "why and the heck would I move to Marysville Washington over another city?" and the reason is: location, location, location. Marysville Washington is so centralized it isn't even funny.

Near the major Cities: Marysville Washington is 30 miles north of Seattle, 10 miles from Lynnwood, 2 miles from Everett. If working in a metropolitan area is a must then take some time to travel North and see what type of living environment and relaxed atmosphere that is Marysville Washington.

Near the Water: The Puget Sound is but a hope skip and jump, literally, to get to and can be accessed through many ways. One of the easiest places to access the Puget Sound is through Ebey Waterfront Park. But if that park doesn't work for your boat size travel to the Everett Marina, just off Marine View Drive, and launch there, approx 5 miles away. Also, Marysville Washington is near many local lakes like Lake Goodwin and Lake Stevens for all your summer fun.

Near the Mountains: Marysville Washington lies in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range where many of us locals love to camp, hike, fish (on the many rivers), site see and enjoy the breadth taking landscape. In 20 minutes you can land yourself on the scenic Mountain Loop Highway and go back in time with short hike to the famous Monte Cristo Ghost Town.

Near many Ski Resorts: If winter sports are your thing then you may skiing at Stevens Pass or Mt Baker (home to the World record of snowfall). There has been great skiing all year in the mountain and I have gotten up a few times already. Also, there are many snowmachine parks close by if that is more your style.

Marysville Washington is the best of all worlds, not just because of all the activities and scenery but because of the strong job market that keeps everyone employed. If you have questions about Marysville Washington or Snohomish County please feel free to contact me directly.

You have neglected (perhaps purposely), the great golfing Marysville has to offer. I need to get up there more often. Good post.

You know I totally forgot about golfing at Cedarcrest Golf Course and Battle Creek Golf Course. Spring time is just around the corner and a great time to skip out of work and golf a round.
