This weeks report on home values for Mission Viejo and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a Mission Viejo Realtor Tim Lorenz. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were down 0.0 percent, new homes are up 2.7 percent and resale condos are up 3.7 percent. The sales volume is down for resale homes 15.0 percent, down 22. percent on condos and up 10.0 percent for new homes.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are down 4.8 percent and the sales volume is down 15.8 percent.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are up 6.8 percent and the sales volume is down 25.9 percent.
Aliso Viejo Zip Code 92656 sales prices are up 7.0 and the sales volume is down 18.8 percent.
Laguna Niguel Zip Code 92677 sales prices up 3.7 percent and the sales volume is down 22.0 percent.
Rancho Santa Margarita Zip Code 92688 sales prices are up 14.1 percent and the sales volume down 60.5 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 9.6 percent and the sales volume is up 13.3 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are down 12.7 percent and the sales volume is down 23.3 percent.
Look at Rancho Santa Margarita's sales volume. That is a huge drop 60.5 percent. Sales volume is off across the board and the median price is flat. We will need to waite until after Super Bowl sundy to see how this all shakes out.
