ActiveRain Weltanschauung… Pause Before Hitting “Enter.”
While I doubt many members read the ActiveRain Weltanschauung upon joining ActiveRain, I’d imagine that those who have participated in any 
of Lynn B. Friedman s January challenges have by now.

We are a unique community and as such the members try to self-police it to protect the integrity of the platform.
We talk about the Golden Rule and respecting each other as a fellow professional and human being and it plays out here every day.
Friendly discourse is encouraged. Differing opinions help us all grow. But while doing or saying on this platform what you would not say to the person’s face may be tolerated on other social media sites, not so on ActiveRain.
If you follow the does not play well in the sandbox approach to life, then you will find that members will soon pass you by and any hopes of a referral of some kind will fly out the window.
This is a no-brainer, or at least it should be.
For example, if a member writes what is clearly a consumer-focused post, then leave snarky opinions to the contrary to yourself. Better yet, write your own post about it.
If an agent highlights their listing of a home that may not suit your taste or the color of the kitchen is not one you would like...zip it! They’re not asking your opinion!
ActiveRain works because the people behind the profile faces you see are real human beings who care about the other members here.
