Some funny things ..... Thinking back.....

Getting off-balance can really be disastrous!    I remember showing a home on the other side of Denver, and walking down a walkway, talking, and looking off to the right, sometimes doesn't always work correctly.    Instantly I was leaning into the giant cactus bush off the front porch.   OH MY GOODNESS!   Never had done that before!   Luckily, the home was vacant, so went back into the home, and removed my pants, and proceeded to remove as many of the cactus needles as possible.  The trip home was miserable, a good 30-40 minutes in the car with SOME needles still in my pants.    I know it was probably pretty funny, the buyers thought so....and now looking back, it was!

We all can share some funny stories, what is yours?

Good morning, Joan - I believe I previously revealed this incident in a post. When I was new to the business I was showing a property to a prospective buyer and the driveway gate closed so the entire property was secured and the lockbox was located  on the exterior fence. P.S. the client was very pregnant not just "a little " so I removed my suit jacket and climbed over the fence to open the gate. End of that day's tour. And end of those suit pants too.

Good morning Joan Cox

Thank you for sharing your story with us, where you able to remove all the needles once you arrive at the office or home?

Best regards,

Anthony Acosta - ALLATLANTACONDOS.COM  I put those pants in the washer, and luckily, that took care of the issue.

That's a good one, Joan. Can't say I've had anything happen to me that would beat that for funny!

I can't believe you put your pants back on, Joan. Not so sure I would have.

The worst thing that happened to me recently was driving home late one night from securing a listing in Natomas, and stopping at a liquor store. Big parking lot without any cars. I parked and started to walk across the parking lot reading emails on my phone.

Next thing I knew I was flat on my knees and hands, still holding my cellphone (of course, not dropping that). I had tripped over a speed bump in the middle of the parking lot. And then the store didn't even carry any scotch so I had to go home empty-handed with bruises and a battered cellphone case.

When I traded in my cellphone at the Apple Store in Honolulu earlier this month, the clerk commented on its excellent condition. I didn't mention the tripping incident, though.

I'm not sure I can remember anything that noteworthy. I should be happy about it, I guess. These stories, and yours, made me chuckle. Although, said ouch too.

Good morning Joan.  I know it can be funny to everyone except the person that is getting stuck with needles.

That is a great story to share.

I was in a vacant home that had no power. On the way down the basement stairs, I stepped into water, not realizing that the basement was flooded. Fortunately, I had only one wet shoe and foot.
