Wordless Wednesday...Gut Feeling.

Good morning Kathy. I do listen to my gut and when I don't....I am usually sorry. The gut knows.

Kathy - that gut feeling could be called many things including what Gabe has said.  It is the feeling something is going on or there is a change and then we need to think how to react. 

Kathy, we are two of a kind, this happens and you have to follow your gut I say.

I am sure that is why we were given that feeling as a way of alerting us to dangers.

Hi Kathy Streib - Great post spurring lots of conversation!  I have always felt I had this but I became hyper-focused after moving to Sedona.  

I do recall the last time the hair on the back of my neck stood up and I got a sick feeling in my stomach.  My husband and I were looking at a lot near one of our iconic rocks and I left the car door open.  I was already uneasy. Then a gust of wind came up swirled around and the car door slammed shut very hard! I told my husband..."Let's get out of here NOW!" Found out later that this area had some portions of negative energy. 

Energy is all around us. I am not the greatest person at reading it all of the time, but when I get a sense of something, I have learned to follow that. 

Yes Kathy I do listen to my feelings and pay atttention closely if it seems 'off'.  A year or so ago by listening it kept me out of a terrible accident 1 minute from my home.

Me too, Kathy!  I think we were once more like the animals who depend far more on instinct than humans.  But, we have intellectualized our instincts away!

The easy answer for me is that I need to pay more attention about that sense.

Following my gut instinct has served me well both in business & in life. Sometimes it's best to throw caution to the wind & just go for it!

You are so right - energy doesn't lie.  My gut is smarter than my brain sometimes!

Kathy my gut is pretty spot on, and I have learned to pay attention to my gut feelings.

Kathy, would love to know what prompted this post....no hairs lately, goosebumps, but I believe for a good reason. Gut feeling--ALL OF THE TIME and I listen to it as if it's an important silent partner guiding me always. 

There's a book I read years ago, What They Don't Teach You at Harvard Business School and one of those things was gut feelings. Gut instinct. Listening to that little voice. Your sixth sense...all of these, aren't textbook, but DO make a big difference in work and in life. 

 That is why I decided to carry a notebook so I could write down all my gut feelings and take action when I get a chance Kathy Streib

You bet - I definitely pay attention to the hairs on my neck, a 6th sense or that gut instinct. It serves me well I believe!!

Kathy every time I do not follow my gut feeling I pay a price for it, would it be sellers, would it be buyers or other agents... and I kick myself in the butt for not listening to my inner alarms...Endre

Morning Kathy.

Not recently, but when it happens I do pay attention.  I didn't once, it almost cost me my life.  

It’s almost like my whole life is about vibes and I just now and I have like 90% accuracy with those situations.

James Dray There are always vibes to be read with almost anybody on the planet but it takes a little bit of experience.
