Locals and visitors alike in Oconee county love when it is Thursday evening April-October. Downtown Seneca turns in to a street festival. Live music, dancing in the street, and having a good time with friends and neighbors. Jazz on the Alley on downtown Seneca's Ram Cat Alley is the place to be. Jazz on the Alley features local talent such as Adam Carter, Corey Stevens, Jamie Wright, The Wobblers, Nathan A'ngelo, and Funk Factory. There are dancing and dining in the streets from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm every Thursday, April through October. The City of Seneca blocks off this 1 block section of Downtown Seneca known as Ram Cat Alley for 1 night a week for this event. Bring a lawn chair, reserve a seat in front of "The Spot" have a glass of your favorite beverage (Be responsible) and see folks you have been missing all winter.
This year will begin on April 4th and then Jazz Fest, a 3-day jazz event April 25th -27th. Acts and schedule have not been posted yet. This should be lots of fun.
Put your dancing shoes on and come to Seneca!
