Stowe, Vermont - Homes Sales Trend Market Report - 2019
As a Real Estate Broker, I have been keeping track of home sales in Stowe, VT on a monthly, quarterly and yearly 
basis. At the end of the year, I put together a trend chart comparing the following:
- 1. Number of Homes Sold - from 2000 through 2018
2. Median Sale Price and Average Sale Price - from 2000 through 2018
3. Average Inventory of Homes Available for sale - from 2005 through 2018
Although Stowe is a relatively small market compared to other areas in Vermont, you can see the trends. You can certainly tell when the recession hit and how it affected the market.
The 2018 trends charts show that the Stowe Home Sales Market is strong.
- 1. The number of homes sold is the highest it has been since 2000.
- 2. Both the Average Sale price and Median Sale price are also the highest they have been since 2000.
- 3. Average Inventory of Homes Available for sale is the lowest it has been since 2005.I feel it is important for a brokers to know their local market. This knowledge helps guide sellers and buyers put the marketplace in perspective.
