Delray Beach...A New Journey Begins

I moved back "home" in the early 1990's. You can go home again. It will just be different. It took me a long time to adjust to living in Minneapolis after Newport Beach. At least a year before I began to acclimate. And then, 10 years later, it was time to go back to California.

Hope you have a wonderful time in Houston, Kathy. I know how much of your heart is still there in Texas.

It is always the journey and not the destination.  Once your destination is set, there is no fretting or worrying.  It is what is right for you...and you can always get on plane back to visit Delray Beach...A

The choice between landscape and family is often difficult for many of us.  I live in Sacramento, because the vast majority of my family is here.  However, I am lucky that within 100 miles in any direction, there is Lake Tahoe, San Francisico, California Wine Country, and Gold Country.  And, Sacramento has things to offer as well!

Kathy, I think this is a smart move to be closer to family. Better to do it now and not five years later.  I am glad we moved back to our roots, West Virginia. I love being closer to all my six sisters.

The value of commenting on a blog is huge.  I actually was not aware that you had moved until I saw it in a comment on 2-7-19.

My wife and I lived in Colorado Springs for many years until relocating back near our relatives in Nebraska.  That was 15 years ago.

Yes...I had to start over but our kids now know their relatives and for the most part the transition is complete...I do miss many of my friends and business contacts, as well as the weather, we enjoyed in the Springs.
