Wordless Wednesday...For Future Reference
You’d think we’d know this by now! The packers and movers were at the house on Monday and immediately things were packed, wrapped, and headed for the truck.
As with every move, I ordered pizza for the movers as well and Larry and me. The only thing missing...something to sit on!!
We both remembered the well-worn beach chairs that we’d just donated that would have been oh-so-comfortable!!!

Well it looks like your on the road again, We will miss you in south Florida and when it gets cold in Huston you might want to pack these. Safe travel and looking forward on hearing about your travels.

I'm sure the movers were grateful for the pizza. Larry looks quite content on the floor.
Hindsight is 20/20, but Larry looks to be comfortable enough on the ground with the pizza nearby.
Ah yes we often forget the needed stuff afterwards. Nice that you got pizza for everyone. Safe travels.
At leqst the weather was cooperating with you and pizza eases the pain of not having chairs.

I would of when to the neighbors and invited them for pizza and also to say good bye again.
Been there, done that during my mom's most recent moves. You can reach a point of stress and exhaustion where the floor is super comfy.
Bet that seat got hard fast. Ouch. Safe travels to you and Larry today, can't wait to read about your observations along the way, and once you reach Houston.
If you're eating pizza, I don't think it matters if you have a chair. Just sit Indian style on the floor. I wonder if that is a racist term? Will have to google that now.

The hard part is getting back up from the floor! LOL
I remember eating pizza, just before our recent move. We had beach chairs, and we were using a box as our table.
I remember eating pizza on the floor, the day we closed, on our very first home...in 1979.

I check on folks on moving day and often see the movers standing at the kitchen island, grabbing a bite! I'm sure they're used to it, Kathy! Don't sweat it!
