At 7:25 a.m. Eastern time on a hill outside Punxsutawney, Pa., known as Gobbler's Knob, the seemingly immortal Phil — the same rodent who launched the tradition in 1887, if you believe his handlers — looked for his shadow. So with the weather dips all over the place lets see if we know better than Phil. What is your guess.
We will have one eye open...it was my Grandfather's birthday....and in Wisconsin we could use a little winter right about now.

We will have to see. Here in TN though, we trust more on the farmer's almanac than a crazy groundhog lol.

Looks like we will be in luck.
My guess is 12 months of summer with an occasional cold and rainy day down here in Florida.
Good morning, Donald - predictions aside, this has been some wild weather possibly too cold for Phil to make an appearance. Is he and those two guys in the hats visiting you in Florida?
Good morning Donald - it really should be interesting although tomorrow the temperatures warm up in the Northeast.

we are good.
I'm guessing that he won't see his shadow this year. BUT, there will still be more winter.

Good morning, Donald Urschalitz that rodent didn't see squat.... no extended winter.... early spring....
not a chance but temps predicted to reach 50 this week. If so the snow melt will flood Main St. in this seasonal ritual.
