Meeting Summary:

• Well the meeting didn't start out too well because I forgot to bring my "jump drive" for the slide shows and went all the way back to the office to retrieve it. When I arrived there were ten people already there. THANK GOD I had set up before the meeting started. I like to network before the meeting starts but I had to get everyone signed in due to me being late.

  Attendance wasn't huge but it was not small either. It was refreshing to see many new faces mixed in with familiar ones. It was good to see Karen Knoblock and Lucio Gomez returning after missing the last two months. They maybe the luckiest couple I ever met. They always seem to win the door prize every month.

  I want to welcome our newest corporate member Lee Greer, Advantage Capital Equity Solutions, I love his web site: www.adcapequity.com/leegreer.aspx. On the web site is a picture of Lee holding up a big ole fish. It looks bigger than the Boat! What's that line from JAWS? - "We need a bigger boat!"

• Featured Speaker Charles Petty did an awesome job by presenting his slide show about Virtual Wholesaling. Unfortunately, his wife Kim could not make it due to the fact his wife is pregnant with their fifth child.

  Charles mentioned that they Wholesale 5-10 houses a month and acquires most of them virtually. They outsource everything concerning their business and do a lot of webinars. He recommended several books: The World is Flat, The 4 Hour Work Week, several websites: Craig's List, Backpage.com and several marketing tips like Voice Broadcasting, which was intriguing.

• Our meeting sponsors Ralph Geronimo from Land Specialties Inc. presented investment opportunities in Georgia's Blue Ridge Mountains

  After the presentation Ralph invited everyone for a free dinner at a four star restaurant later in the week and a subsidized air trip to the Georgia's Blue Ridge Mountains.

• Alejandra (Alex) O. Burns, MREIA's Board Member did a nice slide show presentation on the functionality of Florida Land Trusts. Alex mentors students about the in and outs of Real Estate investing. Click on the web link: "THE COACH" for a free consultation.
