Park benchAttention residents of the communities of Wiseburn, Holly Glen & Del Aire!  LA County Parks & Rec are holding a meeting to discuss the future of the old water tower lot on 133rd Street in the Wiseburn area.

Since the water tower was dismantled years ago, the lot has remained walled up and unused.  A movement has begun by many members in the community to convert this lot from being unsightly and unused, to a lush greenspace for all members of the community to enjoy.

Be sure to come out to this community meeting to get an update on what's happening at the old 133rd Street water tower lot, and voice your opinion.

WHEN:  June 11, 2008 at 6:30 pm

WHERE:  Del Aire Community Center (12601 Isis Avenue, Hawthorne, CA)

WHO:  All members of the communities

MORE INFO:  Contact Joe Mendoza of LA County Parks & Rec at joemendoza@parks.lacounty.gov

NOTE:  If anyone has any pictures of the old water tower, please email them to me!
