We all get bombarded daily with vendors trying to sell us leads from various web sites.  I have a policy on which ones to sign up for and I thought I'd share it with my fellow rainers since it is so simple:

NEVER pay an extensive set up fee or sign a contract for leads.  If the leads are really good, no agent in their right mind would stop subscribing to them.  If the company is forcing a contract or initial lock-in fee then chances are the service is not worth it and they know you would quit after 1 month if they didn't lock you in.
