I have wanted a Tiny House since first seeing them on television. Now I watch these neat structures being designed and built on Bravo and I am really hooked. I so wish that these were a real thing when I was in my twenties. It would have been great to own early but this is now real for many. If you want to build there are choices. it's a great time to buy.

I first came aware of the Tiny Home movement back in 2007.  I was immediately intrigued.  It is my backup plan, should everything go to Hell, and all is lost, to begin once again!  I'd also join the Renaissance Faire movement!

I've entertained the idea of buying a sliver of land at the lake and putting a tiny house on it. That would be the perfect place for weekend getaways.

Sheila, I am amazed at how well space is used in tiny homes. It fascinates me. While I don't think I could do 300 square feet 750 - 1000 would be no problem for us. Dogs included :)

I see a lot of tiny houses on my travels. The heart of the matter is zoning prohibits tiny houses in many of my areas Sheila Anderson

They are being built around my area, but not as many as you would think.  The issue is local zoning.
