It was November 2014, and my son met the love of his life on a rock climbing adventure up to the top of Bell Rock. He was the guide. They hit it off, and Samantha had to leave on the rest of her journey before heading back to Switzerland.
Christmas 2014
My son broke the first of many news items to come. He was leaving the next day for Switzerland to see if what they had was real. He had 90 days to find out! He proposed, he came back and they started planning their life together while all the legel paperwork was being filed and approved.
Samantha came back to Sedona in November and the next week they were married on the mesa that they fell in love. It was a magical day!
Multi- Gen Living
Just like that... two married couples were living in a 2 BD home. Believe it or not, it worked out very well. However, with a couple of short months, Rick and I found out we were going to be grand-parents next February (2016). YIKES!
Time To Get Hoppin!
With a little one on the way, there was no time to waste. Samantha had to establish credit. Yes, she had a job working in my real estate office as a receptionist. I didn't even know she had applied. She saw an ad in the paper!
Looking For A Home In The Village of Oak Creek
We tried to find the right home at the right price. Nothing was working out. My husband said that we should try Verde Santa Fe in Cornville. So I started looking. Every puzzle piece started to fit in the right spot, but the time was running short. We had to get this home secured.
Move In Was 12 Days Before The Baby Was Born...
We thought we had more time but that baby was going to come. There were boxes everywhere but that baby was going to come... and you know when the baby is going to come... it is a commin! YIKES!
