Eagle County Real Estate Volume Tops Other Colorado Mountain Resorts

Eagle County dollar volume of $697,424,200 tops the other Colorado resort markets consisting of Summit, Routt, Pitkin and Garfield Counties. The next closest county in sales volume is Pitkin County with $493,521,839. Through April, Eagle County has the 3rd most transactions with 497 of the mountain resort counties, behind Summit County (618) and Garfield County (585).
While the market continues to remain slow compared to previous years, the high end residential properties continue to move with 30 properties over $4 million selling in the first 4 months of the year.

This number is just three shy of our record breaking year of 2007. The highest selling property in April was a Golden Peak Condo selling for $10,500,000.


Eagle (73), Beaver Creek (44) and Lionshead (37) have been the areas with the most transactions through April of this year.

April Highlights;


Eagle and Gypsum had the highest number of transactions for April with 10 and 12 respectively
The average single family home sold for $1,647,626
The average Multi-family home sold for $1,0111,210
