Sleet and Freezing Rain

Yesterday was a good day. It snowed heavily for most of the day with big time rains. It was constant and beautiful but I was home for the better part of the afternoon and evening. Late last night it started to sleet and then there was freezing rain on top of the snow. It is still like that and I am really happy I can stay in as the roads are deadly. Glad to have a choice. If you are out please be careful.

Sounds like a really good day to stay inside, maybe for a week! My sister says it snowed another 22 inches in Minneapolis, on top of ice. She sent me a photo of her front yard 5-feet deep in snow with a narrowly shoveled sidewalk. Having no corresponding photo to send her, I reciprocated with a picture of my new lanai furniture with the ocean in the background, framed by alamanda flowers.
