Station East is in its final phase now. Station East is an historic neighborhood located in East Baltimore. Homes here are fully renovated and eco friendly and economically friendly too. You can get into a home here for as little as $1,700 in downpayment and a monthly payment in the region of $1,100 and start at about $167,990 depending on the floor plan and amenities you choose.
The neighborhood is located with N. Patterson Park on the west, Ashland on the south, Eager on the north and N. Milton on the east. There are several floor plans to choose from and include 2 and 3 bedroom models.
Station East is located near one of Baltimore’s more diverse communities. It is close to Johns Hopkins Hospital and near East Baltimore Development Inc’s $1.8 billion plan that includes a community center, library and outdoor space and new science and technology buildings, a retail development and mixed-income housing. It is also easy to get from here downtown using public transit.
Hopkins employees may qualify for grants up to $17,000 to purchase a home here. There are also $10,000 Vacant to Value grants available for purchasing a formerly vacant, fully renovated homes. There may also be Live Near Your Work grants available for employees of participating employers and Maryland Mortgage Program no interest loans.
