Starbucks to Close Lakeforest Mall Location in Gaithersburg, MD

They must have their reasons for doing this Roy. Maybe other top retail stores will take their space...

Now that is interesting, Roy... I don't remember seeing a Starbucks close their doors anywhere in my area.

Roy: Hopefully there will be an influx of new choices to attract consumers and keep the Lakeforest Mall and surrounding area growing.

Roy, the City should be looking at this area closely if two retailers are closing.   

Roy, this makes me wonder if there are longterm plans to revamp the Lakeforest Mall all together. It was a long project when they did Springfield in this area but, it has really paid off. 

In Oklahoma City, Starbucks closed every store where they didn't have a drive through.

We actually had a new Starbuck's to open up in our community.  However, we did have a McDonald's inside our neighborhood Walmart to close.

Hi Roy - I remember years ago when Lakeforest was being touted as such a growth area. Things change. Mall retailing is definitely evolving.
