Palos Verdes homes owners have an opportunity for some outdoor fun while enjoying a run/walk for a good cause. Family Charity Pi Run/Walk will take place on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Ernie Howlett Park from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This is wonderful event supports Doctors Without Borders and Heifer International, and is coordinated by Chubby Cheeks Charity, a non-profit organization that is involved with international aid.
The race will take place on Sunday, March 10, 2019, with registration beginning on site at 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. The actual run/walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will be a 5K (3.14 miles). The award ceremony will take place at 10:20 a.m. and the picnic fun will begin at 10:30 a.m. It is recommended that you bring your own picnic brunch to enjoy after the race. T- shirts will be included with ticket price and passed out at registration. All participants will receive a handheld pie. For more information or to purchase tickets click here.
