New Groomers.....

I am not good with change period. I found a wonderful place to board my gang when I travel and my fur babies are always happy there and come home well and good. About five years ago the owner of the Camp, opened a salon where I took my gang to be groomed. There was some turnover but the last two people working there did a good job and one was terrific. About ten days ago I heard that the spa was closing. I was very sad about it. When I spoke to the owner, it had more to do with business than with anything else. So I had to find someone new.

Last week I went into another place in the area and was shocked by the price differential. Since I have four I am used to a discount but I couldn't begin to pay their price. I was honest and after a conversation with the owner I will be getting them groomed on Friday. The place is closer, spotless and I am hopeful. I will see soon. Fingers crossed.

The right groomer is so important, Sheila, I learned when we had dogs. We followed ours from her various places until she opened her own salon and happy to report it's going gangbusters, even though we don't have dogs at home any longer. Hope you are happy with your new groomers.

I hope the new groomer works out well for you, Sheila.  Dog grooming can be quite an expense when you have as many pooches as you do.

Charlene and I have never boarded our dogs. We have always had house sitters but now we are down to Henri and he flys with us. We are bleassed to have two wonderful groomers in Oklahoma and Florida. They love Henri and he loves them back.

I would have hunted that groomer down...just like I did when my chiropractor and my eye doctor changed offices this past year. Honestly, I know that isn't always possible. I was lucky to find them and not have to start over with someone new.

It sucks when you lose a valued service provider that you trust.
