The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is a great benefit to the communities in which we provide Denver property management.  We are no stranger to this staple of the city, we have blogged about it many times.  There seems to be no shortage of great, fascinatingly brilliant exhibits that come through and condense information and package it in a very easy to digest way.  This new year long exhibit, Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity is among this company.  The price is variable depending on the day and is open at 2:30pm each day throughout the week and 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.  They will continue until Dec 12, 2019.  So, you have many chances to go see the exhibit for yourself first hand.  If you can’t devote one day over the next 10 months to this, well, you will likely not be the target audience for this type of science learning.

There is one type of place in our universe in which nothing escapes.  We know this to be true of the one space phenomena, the black hole.  This is a gravity well installed in space, where not even light can escape.  Space and time come to an end here.  It is one of the staples of science fiction movies where intrepid explorers traverse great distances to find a black hole, and then decide to go inside it.  The result is traveling across dimensions and forward and backward in time.   There is no greater journey with no known bookend, than deep diving into a black hole.  Now, of course this is all science fiction but there is plenty of non-fiction literature surrounding the black hole.  There are many formulas that can be used to simulate what may happen, in a material world and universe with facts we know to be true.  Science fiction is a great way to have these events shown off in creative ways, but there is a truth to these naturally occurring and mysterious events.  It is a fantastic riddle that holds our imaginations and exerts their power across the universe.  The cosmos bends its will to a black hole.  This museum produced show will have you zipping through other-worldly wormholes, experience the creation of the Milky Way Galaxy, and witness the violent death of a star and the subsequent birth of a black hole.  Mathematical equations, cutting-edge science and Einstein’s theories fill in the holes along the way, providing you with the most complete picture of the mysterious phenomena.  Let the Denver Museum of Nature and Science pull you in and take you on a ride.
