HI Barbara Todaro - I agree with the exercise.  My  husband actually bought a snow shovel and icepick for these freak winter storms. He has used it a lot this month and loves the excercise!

Hi Nina Hollander - I have seen this maybe 3 times in 15 years because our weather just does allow for this.  I have a vehicle I can drive in heavy snow so it does not bother me. But I certainly can appreciate your sentiment!

Hi Brian England - We had no way of knowing but the weather warmed up enough by 11 am to make your travel safe. But you absolutely made the right decision to leave early. 

Hi Myrl Jeffcoat - Because humidity is so low, you can go outside and it does not "stick" to you. Damp and freezing is so much worse!

HI Sheila Anderson - The weather right now is very freak.  But because it is not normal, we are enjoying it. Also, there is no reason to leave home which makes it better.

Hi Sally K. & David L. Hanson - The last time I saw this area ( a few years ago), there was a big icicle hanging from the gutter spout.  This vine has grown since then and the water was bouncing around to create this configuration. It is art-like!

Hi Norma J. Elkins - I am keeping juice in the hummingbird feeders and bird cakes for the birds. 

Hi Joan Cox - Right now we are at about 8 inches and climbing! I don't see this going away today!

Hi Joe Pryor - It is great to be able to thaw out from the cold.  Personally, our cold spells don't last long and they are always so interesting because we just don't see this weather.
