What New Cellphone Earpiece Will You Being Using on July 1st, 2008?

Does anyone know of an inexpensive earpiece to buy?  I am not all that fond of the Motorola Blue tooth ones I have purchased over the last couple of years.

They seem to run out of juice after a year or so.  I admit, I use mine constantly and that could be the problem they only last such a short time.

When I was at Sam's Club I notice they had a whole "end of the aisle display" with hundreds of a brand I had not heard of but only cost $29.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I am going to to keep it simple. I will use one of the orginal ear devices which sells for less than $15. Clipping a device to my ear such as bluetooth is very uncomfortable for me.

I'd be a little concerned with radio waves continually near my brain.  There have been some connections between cellphone use and cancer.

I agree with Jacqueline about the discomfort of using a wireless headset.

I just bought a new Jabra over-the-ear headset on eBay for $6 including shipping.  It is the same model I purchased at a Cingular store a few years ago for $39.

I buy all my replacement cell phones on eBay.  I save hundreds.

I like Plantronics brand.

My first cell was a gift and it came with the new every two years. I get a new cell every 24 months and have never paid a penny for one.

Rechargable batteries don't last forever, most can only be recharged so many time and then they're junk. I would suggest you buy the cheapest one that's comfortable and works. Plantronics does make a model that uses a AAA battery and if you use rechargables you may be happier with that setup, you would only have to replace the batteries

I like this idea from Terry a lot more than what I have been doing. I am going to buy the Plantronics that use the AAA battery. Where do you purchase this brand?

Believe me I am tired to just "throwing money off a cliff."

Many thanks,

Joan

I'm a dinosaur!  I'm going to stick my earpiece in my ear when the phone rings of just pull over.  I'm not down with radio waved floating near my brain. I don't do microwaves and I won't do blue tooth.
