You're kidding, I hope -  3 to 10 " of  snow!  I hope that makes you happy, John.  I would suppose those who choose to live in wintery snow locations, love their areas.  However, when I think back, I lived in Green Bay, Wisconsin and suburban Chicago for years.  I honestly loved Green Bay and also, Chicago, however, I hated winters  --  cold, icy conditions and s-n-o-w  :) I also hated the stubbornness of the SUN who refused way too many times to come out and play.  John, there was one year in Chicago where the sun did not shine for the first 29 days of January.  Yuck!! January is not necessarily a fun month, but to have the first 29 days of a LONG MONTH with not a hint of sun... double-yuck!!

I recall one story of a mother driving her 5 yr. old son to school one morning, glanced in the back seat to her son.  She asked, "Why are you crying?"  The young boy replied, "Because the sky is falling down on us."  Yup, John G. Johnston, - and that was really what it looked like.
