Lake homes for sale in White Lake & Lake info

Here are three lake homes for sale on all sports lakes in White Lake Township.  I have also included videos on some of the local lakes.

First house is on Oxbow Lake which is a private all sports lake.  No DNR access.  Oxbow Lake properties are a mix of smaller lots and large 1+ acre lots on west side of lake on Hilltop Dr.  There is a small bar on the lake called Spraders which is a place to get a cold drink after spending time on the lake.

The waterfront homes on Oxbow Lake are a mixture of small cottages to rebuilt add on homes to large newer colonials and contemporary homes.  The children that live on the lake go to Huron Valley schools.  There is one section of the lake off M-59 that many ice fisherman congregate at.  There is also a water grass area that is near the north end of the lake.  Last time I counted there were over 80 swans on the lake.  It is beautiful private all sports lake. Here is one of the manywaterfront homes on Oxbow Lake in White Lake Township Michigan

 The second lake home for sale in White Lake Township is on Cedar Island Lake.  I have quite a few friends on Cedar Island Lake and spent quite a bit of time on the lake.  It is one of my favorite lakes in the area.  A nice feature of the lake is that there is several bays and canals to tour around if you are looking for a leisurely ride around the lake with family and friends.  It's like there is something different around the corner or down the canal.  Residents of Cedar Island Lake have a shallow sandy spot on the lake that the boaters gather at on warm summer days.  They are a shallow area in front of undeveloped property.  Sometimes there will be 20 different boats with people standing and talking to each other. 

There are many different home styles on the lake.  I have sold several homes on the lake in the last several years one was on a 26' lot which was very unusual for the lake.  Most homes on the lake have good sized lots.  What I mean by that is there are very few 30 or 40 foot lots on the lake.  Most Cedar Island waterfront properties range from 50' to over 100' in size.
