- Sprinkle baking soda on the affected area (stain) and completely cover it
- Gently scrub the area using a brush, old toothbrush, and warm water
- Avoid completely soaking it. Just make it wet to scrub the stains

Natural Cleaning
Some people do not prefer to use chemicals to clean carpets, especially when they have kids. Chemicals can cause allergies and other complications. In that condition, you can consider a natural cleaning solution. Baking soda is a natural solution. But if you are allergic to baking soda, you can try the following one. It will offer the same benefit.
How to Clean Naturally
To start cleaning, you will need dish soap, vinegar, and water. Make a solution with one tablespoon of the dish soap, ¼ teaspoon of the white vinegar, and one quart of warm water. This overall cleaner can be best to clean all the stains. You can test the solution on a small area to ensure that it is not causing discoloration.

In addition, you can use club soda to deep clean your carpet. Club soda is a great cleaner. It can be ideal to clean wine and blood stains. You can simply apply a small amount of club soda on the stain and then use a dry cloth to blot the stain. Repeat the process until the stain is completely removed. Rub gently instead of scrubbing the area.

If the stain is stubborn, you can prepare a solution with a few drops of liquid soap and warm water. This soap is nontoxic but powerful enough to remove all the debris and dust. Use a clean cloth to scrub the stain with the mixture. Blot the surface with a dry towel to soak up all the possible waters.
