I just read this guy's blog that was asking  the Active Ran community  to critique his website and not pull any punches. .

So I wrote the following. .hoping that you may also need some ideas  developing your  websites. .

Four  things.

#1people looking to refi while they are at work in their computer will prefer no music so their boss will not find out . .  they are goofing off

 #2 Picture. .why? people have a tendency of doing business with people that looks like them. you are lowering your odds to get a client.. .besides, I rather deal with a company. .no face involved, more professional and a sense of security from the very start.

#3 Quality of your website. . it looks like you purchased at Walmart. .no offense but, when you make a few thousands dollars from one single transaction, it's beyond me that some people spend $39 a month for a website and hope for GRETA RESULTS.

#4 You got 3 seconds to win me over when I land on your website. . I'm not your cousin that will spend five minutes to see what you got or how good you are doing. . I don't have time, don't clutter my brain with music and blogs and news and rates and services. .etc etc

If I'm there to get a loan (PERIOD). . .I just need a place to go "Need a Loan? = Click Here For A Quote" "These are today's rates" "We guarantee you the lowest rates and VIP service"

. .and the designations. . don't forget that designations for the consumer looks something like this

Name: Joe Blow , Realtor, CRS,JKH,DF,SDFSD,FDFDF,F,,FDSFSDFF,SWFG,FHFGHH,HGH,HJ, AND ALL AROUND GOOD GUY???????????

then again, that's just my opinion. .after  we increase our results from 1 or two leads a month to 3 to five  leads per day. .and our record is 5000 first time visitors in one single month!

I'm entitled to it!

Nice post for every site there are a million differnt opinions But saving the viistor time and making finding stuff easy are 2 constants

That's a good critique, however to international clientele your education and designations are VERY important...just a thought.  It depends on what market you are targeting.

Pretty good advice.  However, you need to know who you are marketing to and a personalized site AND a company site might be a good idea.

Funny. But there are so many sites that are so busy it drives me nuts. They need to just kep it simple.
