What I Learned This Week at ActiveRain-March 3 to March 9, 2019
It was a great week to learn something here on active rain, thanks for sharing this information.
What I Learned This Week at ActiveRain-March 3 to March 9, 2019
I learn something new every day at ActiveRain! With this series, I try to highlight one post per day that gave me that lightbulb moment. It could be something techie, something about Real Estate or the other professions that I never knew, about a place, or about a person. Or, it could be a post that made me sit up and take notice!
March 3: Jay Markanich What Happens When a Spring is Found Under New Construction?
Proof once again of the need for a home inspection even with new home construction!!! Thank you to Jay and MightyMo!
March 4: Ron and Alexandra Seigel Monday Musings: Contrast As An Asset of Inspiration & Creativity
What an excellent post that shows us what can be gained when we look at adversity or setbacks with a positive attitude and take positive action.
March 5: Lise Howe Should You Avoid a Homeowner's Association in Looking for a New Home?
Many don't like them and many accept them as a way of life. Lise offers some excellent tips to share with your buyers.
March 6: Robert Siciliano 10 Tips to Not Ending Up a Dead Agent
Robert chose this title hoping that we would all sit up and take notice. It's not like we haven't been told this before but we need to keep this information top in our minds.
March 7: Richie Alan Naggar When You Get Caught
We've been taught this since we were children and yet we all know business associates and others in our lives who just keep getting caught.
March 8: Patricia Feager Automated Smart Homes & What You Need to Know
In the past, a seller would leave the instructions for the appliances, etc and the garage door opener with the home but Patricia brings up an interesting topic, especially with so many smart homes now.
March 9: Sheri Sperry Making a Case for No Time Change
This is something I could get behind!!!! What about you?
And sadly, a post that needs to be highlighted is also a sad one for all of us. Susan Haughton, our ActiveRain family member, passed away on Friday. Many of us never have the opportunity to meet other members here yet we feel as if we know them via their posts and comments.
Susan was one such member for me. She was supportive and kind. You cannot ask for more than that.
Susan Haughton, R.I.P. 3/8/2019
Don’t forget to check out Carol Williams Second Chance Saturday posts as well. I always find a post or two that I missed.
You can find previous What I Learned This Week at ActiveRain posts here.
Thank you for letting me do what I love doing...learn something new and interesting every day!
