The first thing you will notice about this post is that it is different. Yes, you have seen townhomes before. There are literally thousands of them scattered throughout metro Atlanta. Of course, if you have seen one, you’ve seen them all, right? Well not exactly.

In our property presentation, you will see all the bells and whistles from our photography. You can check out the features and amenities like the covered porch, semi-private back deck, the large kitchen, living and dining areas, all the bedrooms and baths, the finished terrace level and Owner’s suite. You can even pull up the google maps and see aerials of the neighborhood and the proximity to town, how close it is to the freeways and the city. You can see the recreation areas near the Chattahoochee River, the nearby stores and schools. You can even see what others have paid for similar offerings in the area… BUT, let me show your MIND’s EYE what the experience of living here is like. Something you can’t just simply glean from a map or photos on a MLS printout. This is not your average townhome.

It all starts from a push of a button… Imagine this! On your long drive home from an even longer day, you are ready to decompress and relax. You have ordered ahead from a push of a button on your phone to pick up dinner from one of the local eateries near the townhome, popped in a got a bottle of some nice foreign red from the corner store and now arrived at the front entrance of the community.

The relaxation soon starts from a quick push of a button and like magic your front gates open. You drive in and meander through the well landscaped community with perfectly lighted walkways, greenery and hardscapes over to your private unit. From the push of a button, your garage opens, you pull in your two-car garage, turn the car off, exhale the stress away as your garage door closes behind you from yet another push of a button. You then grab your dinner and beverage and walk in through your terrace level den that sometimes doubles as your yoga room, or card game room when you are entertaining with an attached full bathing room.
You disengage the security system with a push of a few buttons, bound up the stairs, kick off your shoes, drop your keys, work bag and phone at the foyer table. You feel the cool satiny texture of your beautiful hardwoods under foot as you glide over into your chef inspired kitchen and set your food on the large sleek, granite center island that can sit up to 6 people. This is where you would normally showcase your best prepared meals but tonight you are focused on that yummy meal you thought about all day along with that left-over cheese cake from the Cheesecake Factory just up the road a bit from the townhome. And maybe some left-over pizza from the Pie Bar, the next block over if you are feeling extra hungry tonight. You think to yourself, “I skipped lunch today, so I deserve it.”

You go over to your large cupboards that surround the kitchen on three sides with tons of storage to retrieve a plate, wine glass and your favorite fork to enjoy your meal while catching up on your emails, text messages and social media while light jazz is playing on your Amazon Echo over in the living room all streaming through your high speed cable internet connection.

After you are done with dinner, you are full as a tick and decide to put on your old faithful joggers and go for a walk around the community and watch the sunset. You see a few residents out walking their dogs, others jogging and few chatting up neighbors. You take the loop, walking through your townhome section within the community and then over to the single-family home section and then power walk up the hill to the townhome section that sits behind the storefronts facing Veterans Memorial Highway. You decide to take a break on one of the park benches along the upper park to finish taking in the sunset. Afterwards, you decide to take a brief stroll over to the stores that front the neighborhood to see what’s new at the local shops and say,” Hi ” to your favorite shop owners, stop in and check on your commercial mail drop box at the UPS store and stop in and see the latest with the new party painting business that just opened. You then decide to head back home to round out your walk and fall in for the rest of the evening but make a pit stop across the street to pick up a sweet treat to have later as a reward for getting out and walking off your meal.

You get back to your townhome, go and drop your sweet treat off in the stainless side by side refrigerator so you can finish tidying up. You walk over to rinse your dishes from dinner and from earlier in the day and set them in the stainless-steel dish handler for a brief cycle. Next you pad across your hardwoods to feed your goldfish, water your plants and arrange your tchotchkes on the build-ins on either side of the tv and then over to your low-E double thermal windows to turn the blinds. You walk out onto your covered porch that overlooks the park-like green space across the street, wave at a neighbor driving by and see that they street lights have again lent their light to illuminate the path for the few neighbors out still walking their pets and chatting. You decide to light the fireplace and watch a little tv for a couple of hours with just a push of a button.
After some time, you decide to start preparing for the next day before it gets too late. On the dining room table, that seats up to 8 you open your work case and organize your files, check your work email send a few messages for your assistant in the morning, and read a few reports and make a couple calls to friends and family.

Done for the day, you close the laptop, turn off the fireplace and bound upstairs to your hotel inspired Owners Spa Retreat with its separate Jacuzzi tub, rain shower chamber, large walk in changing room and water closet. You run a sudsy bath while you lay out your clothes for the next day and let your thoughts carry you as soak and engage the water jets with just a push of a button and decompress the from it all.

After a long day you are now in bed totally relaxed, stress free, living the dream in your townhome with all that you need and want: security of a gated community, beautiful grounds, fun activities of swimming, tennis, working out in the community gym at the clubhouse, shops, eateries and bars in walking distance, just a couple miles from the freeway, 20 minutes to the airport, Cumberland Mall and downtown Atlanta. And only 30 minutes to Buckhead and the Perimeter area. The cherry on top is all of this is practically maintenance free, no yard to cut, no flower beds to weed or water and you can be as social or unsocial as you like here and have a simple, peaceful life for years to come. As you close your eyes and begin to drift into dreamland you suddenly open your eyes and realize then all started from just a push of a button here on this listing.
