There’s No Place Like West Michigan!

I truly love living and working independently here in the Greater Grand Rapids area. There is truly an undefineable special “something” about this community. It’s my pleasure and honor to serve each and every person here that I have before, and each one that I will in the future. I’m not the only one who feels this way- the last decade or so has seen rapid and expansive growth of the population here. GR has established herself well on the medium-city spectrum for many reasons, like just a few of ours here:

FUN Stuff to do- And we’re talking for all ages here! Affordable outings to the West Michigan Whitecaps, Grand Rapids Drive, and Grand Rapids Griffins games provide all of the action without costs that can be insane at major league venues. Grand Rapids may be known as “Beer City USA”- but have you checked out the food scene lately? Amazing, inspired, varied and far too many to mention here! Additionally, unique experiences like the Frederick Meijer Gardens, GR Children’s Museum, GR Festival of the Arts each June, make for great memories together.

The Great Outdoors- Being 30 minutes from the beautiful Lake Michigan coast here in GR makes for inexpensive and fun day trips to the beach. The many inland lakes provide optimal fishing opportunities, and hunting season in our forests is practically a federal holiday here when it begins.  Not to mention the abundance of opportunities to camp, hike, rock climb, dune ride or climb, canoe, and just about anything else you can think of to enjoy outside of your four walls.

Growing Market- Grand Rapids has seen population growth where other Michigan communities have not. We have seen an approximate 5.7% increase in our numbers since 2010. As a Realtor, I have seen quite an increase in the number of new homes under construction/being sold, and this bodes well for our choice to have our business here. If you own or work for a small business, GR is a great place to build your brand amongst loyal and educated consumers.

Community- Truly, none of these other reasons matter much without the individuals who make up our community. Over the last 33 years it has been my honor to serve a community of people who value and trust the expertise of a professional Realtor to handle their market needs. Additionally I have been given a faith community, friends, and of course my family with whom to enjoy all of the great things above.
