This is St. Patrick’s weekend this weekend with the actual day on Sunday this year. You may have seen a few over eager revelers celebrating the holiday last weekend, but this weekend is the true observed time. With that comes the healthiest alternative to drinking green beer all weekend, and that is the St. Patrick’s 5k on Saturday 3/16/19 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. This is the Highlands Ranch St. Patrick’s Day 5K and will be launching from the Town Center South, just 5 minutes from our Highlands Ranch property management office. Grab your friends and family and head on down to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a 5k run. You’ll need your best running or walking shoes and a costume that exudes Irish spirit. We will see if the snow melts enough by the weekend to properly take a fast course thorough the course. This run/walk will be put on by Living the dream Brewing Company and this will be the most fun event featuring a large group of people all wearing green. The run/walk starts and finishes on Dorchester Street, and once you finish the first beer is on the Brewery. Join all your fellow runners/walkers for the tasty pint brought to you by Living the Dream Brewing. There will also be an all-you-can-eat pancake bar for breakfast and Irish Dancers who will dance for your entertainment. There will also be a hidden leprechaun that is hiding a golden kettlebell along the course. If you find it and bring it back to the finish you will win $100.00! Register now to get ahead of the line. There will also be registration on site for everyone who decides last minute that they would like to run. Or if you are waiting to see how the weather shapes up. If it gets too warm, too late, it could be a wet smudgy sloppy mess. Not always the most conducive environment for a 5k but hey, it should still prove to be a lot of fun.
