Saturday Smiles: The Colorful Santa Barbara Farmers Market

We woke up to a beautiful day. We are expecting a high of 73, which is according to Ron "shorts weather!" We were greeted by these amazing purple artichokes as we walked in (pictured above) They are one of our favorites, as they have a distinctly nutty taste!

Cabbage was plentiful, both the regular version and the cone head variety. The colors are beautiful and vivid!

Mustard greens were front and center at the Asian vegetable stand. They are delicious stir fried!

And now for a little color relief, turnips were also plentiful today!

And last, but no least, these colorful straw-flowers took my breath away! Wishing you all a lovely Saturday full of smiles!
