"When all the world appears to be in a tumult, and nature
itself is feeling the assault of climate change, the seasons
retain their essential rhythm. Yes, fall gives us a premonition
of winter, but then winter, will be forced to relent, once again,
to the beginnings of soft greens, longer light, and the sweet air of spring."

SPRING & LOVE IS IN THE AIR
The humming of the lawnmowers and weed eaters have returned because Spring has truly arrived in Flower Mound. I love flowers and spring. I have expressed that numerous times on ActiveRain and in letter writings to family and friends long before I started blogging. My favorite thing to do in spring, summer, and fall is to plant and make a garden party for things that fly like butterflies, dragonflies, ladybugs, and birds. Actually, when I started my blog on ActiveRain, I posted many photos of flowers because it is what I always did, take photos of flowers and plants outdoors ever since I received my first camera when I was about seven or eight years old.
KALEIDOSCOPE OF COLORS
I first used the term spring is like a kaleidoscope of colors on ActiveRain early on when I began to blog. It was a word I came up with long before I was a blogger. The truth is, it was how I saw the world as a child. I wrote in my journals and letters to friends, spring is like a kaleidoscope of colors, and I frequently used that expression since my beginnings here on ActiveRain. The truth is, it is my favorite description of spring that started long before I expressed my thoughts, words, and photographs to the general public.
LOVE IS IN THE AIR
Spring has always been my favorite season. Perhaps it is because I was a spring baby and my parents always celebrated their wedding anniversary on March 19th. I recall their happiness, the flowers my father always delivered to my mother, their kisses and love for each other. I remember my baby sister being born on March 25th and the love that permeated in our home when she was born. And how could I forget sex education seeing my dog in heat and discovering puppies! When it is spring, love is in the air!
SPRING IS A GREAT TIME TO FALL IN LOVE
AND START NEW BEGINNINGS, WHETHER
THAT IS WITH A NEW HOME, HAVING KIDS,
OR EVEN PUPPIES!
