There will be a great event this week at the Falls Event Center in Littleton, called the Fiesta For All. This is a celebration of Hispanic Music and Dance. The Denver Gay Men’s Chorus returns with a celebration of great Hispanic artists in their new bilingual concert series during March 2019. It’s a celebration of Hispanic heritage and the impact on the community and the music that has inspired them. This is one of the events that we like to keep track of in our Littleton property management blog series. Community events are great and bring together all members of the neighborhoods. A collection of fiery retrospectives of the sounds and flavors of Latin America and Spain including, blend of Spanish and Mexican Folksongs, Mariachi tunes, Tangos of Argentina, Salsas of Brazil and Cuba. Under the direction of James Knapp, the DGMC will be joined by special guests and advance their mission of building community through music. Tickets are $25 and there will be a cash bar available. You can also purchase tickets at any HRCA recreation center front desk or online in advance of the event. This Chorus was established in 1982 with a commitment to build a diverse community and foster acceptance through music. The auditioned, 140 strong community choruses have been operating for over 3 decades and more than 140 concerts. This will be their 36th season, they remain true to their mission of educating, inspiring and empowering all while entertaining audiences.
