As part of our Littleton property management community event watch, we would like to see our readers attend free events in their communities. Everyone has been personally invited to an evening of food and shared conversation with a purpose. Amidst the tech-infused modern busy-ness of modern life, you are all invited to step back into a tradition long-practiced at Jefferson’s Monticello since 1819. Inspired by President Thomas Jefferson’s dedication to fostering thought provoking dinner conversation, this gathering brings individuals who have never met to have a single table discussion around a common theme. The way a Jeffersonian Lunch works is critical and simple. To get away from the standard dinner party mechanics, you will not focus on the person next to you, everyone talks about one topic to the entire table. The goal of a Jeffersonian Lunch is to listen, to learn, to connect and to inspire each other. Meaningful and honest dialogue on a single important issue can be a beneficial way to bridge gaps between you and another person. Meaningful conversation leads to deeper relationships and stronger community. This lunch will require you to bring your own food and drink. There will be none provided for you. There are only 10 seats available at the table, so firm commitments are required. You can get in touch if you can go and are available to join. This event is at BRIO in Denver, on Thursday April 4, 2019 from 12:00 to 1:00pm. It is free to attend of course, but a cancellation must be communicated. Now in parting, the topic that will be the centerpiece of the event, “What is the difference between inspiration and motivation, and how do you find and keep yours?”. Hopefully you will find some value in this event.
