I was just looking at my point summary today and was surprised to notice that my blogging points and commenting points are almost equal, about a 49% - 51% split. Is that of any significance?

Am I spending too much time commenting on other members blogs? I admit, sometimes I feel guilty for getting points for welcoming people to the site, but, I am now a featured agent in my county. Guilt get thee behind me!

Should I be posting more blogs that ask questions about getting points? Ok, at least I am not trolling for points, casting out questions like "Comment here and we will both get more AR points". People more clever than I have already beaten me to that and sometimes I am just stubborn to my own detriment.

Or maybe it is just a sign of a balanced mind! Now that is really something scary to think about. I have always considered myself somewhat on the edge. Wanting to push the envelope. Now I see I might be BALANCED?

What about you? Are you a contributer, a commentor, a lurker?

I think I will go clutter up my desk some more.

Mike, I'm a commenter for sure.  I am working on becoming a contributer...it's taking some time.  Most of my points have come from my comments!

What can I say, I've got lots to say about what other say!!

I think I'm pretty balanced, too.  I don't know for sure...  Where do you find your "point summary"?

Yvette - I can see. I beleve I have read many of your comments on various blogs.

Debi - go to your home page and scroll towards the bottom. On the left hand side you will see points summary. If you click on it, it will show where all your points have come from.

Thanks

23000 for blogs and 19900 for comments for me.  Sounds pretty even to me.

Mike.. I cam definitely a contributer/commentor.  I try to blog on things that I feel clients and further clients would like to know about.  Also leaving comments on other people's blogs (like yours) helps you get answers to questions... it is a win - win situation.

Ron - pretty close, leaning a little more to the podium side though ;^)

Valerie - it certainly is a win-win (except for maybe on a couple groups where things are taken a bit more personally)

Richard - very aggressive, my goals are slightly lower, like 6 & 2, but then I am also trying to get to 4 or more a week on my other blogsite.

Thanks folks, for the comments and the points that your comments provide.

Hi Mike,

Thank You for looking at the perspective.  Why do we do what we do?

I make it a priority to balance comments on my blog by commenting on other blogs.  I think it's good to give and receive!

Mike - I was more of a commentator. I am still about 200 points on the comment side.

Dan - amen. I like to let people know I like their blogs. But, sometimes I feel it's just a repititon of what everyone else has said.
