There is a line of thought that naming your business after yourself makes the business harder to sell later.  JimBob's Garage became successful because of JimBob.  Nobody wants to deal with Steve.

Why wouldn't you open your own brokerage? If you do a good job and offer people what they want, you will succeed. You could offer better benefits and recruit good Realtors to work for you. Good Luck.

As stated by others before me, Ken Tracy's Real Estate sounds fine! If you decide to sell the new owners may well want to rename the agency anyway!

As for the capital shortage, go back to basics, keep the name in mind, we have to learn to crawl before we walk, walk before we run, etc.

Crawling = working for someone else, earning the needed capitol.

Walking = Opening Ken Tracy's Real Estate.

Runnning = being successful, selling the business and enjoying early retirement.
