It was a lousy day yesterday at the Antique Gallery. Just like life, sales are often difficult and replete with barriers. As I write this, I am bummed but after I am finished, it will be over. Dwelling on stupid and rude folks makes no sense.
Instead of brooding here are some other things I am selling.
The above is a button of a handsome man. I have had this twent years. I believe it is turn of the century. There are also a couple of older cars too. The silver is a Mercedes Benz, the truck a Buddy L.
The above is an older crazed teapot but like none I have ever seen before.
The bell is a Fenton and it is signed. The box is handmade and was acquired in Portugal. The pink plate is depression era and the small green vase with gold overlay is from the 40's.
The little pitcher is handpainted. The cut out vase is a beautiful green. The plate on a stand is a blue, beautiful and probaby carival glass.
The above is an old griddle in pristine condition. One side is for pancakes and you flip over the plate and it is flat for grilled cheese or anything else like a paninni.
An old oil can, a simple glass bowl and a small cooper pot. And yes there is are aluminum pieces and a small ceramic teapot too.
