So far, we've had a pretty wet year. Good news, though. That seems to be tapering off now. Fortunately for the Ventura Spring Wine Walk and Street Fair 2019, the weather looks to be a little cloudy but dry. All you'll need for a fun day of shopping and tasting is a light sweater, your ID, and a ride home.

Ventura Spring Street Fair
Kick off the day's events with the Ventura Spring Street Fair. Beginning at 11 am, the 300-500 blocks of Main Street fill up with dozens of arts and crafts vendors, local organizations, and other businesses. Shop around for a great gift for Mother's Day, Father's Day, graduating student or other special occasion. Also, enjoy live entertainment and great food vendors while you look around. The fair stays open until 6:30 pm. Admission is absolutely free.
Ventura Spring Wine Walk
Beginning at 3 pm, guests who sign up now get to enjoy the Ventura Spring Wine Walk. Sample wine, champagne, sparkling wine, and craft beer at 40 different businesses around the downtown Ventura area. Obviously, you must be at least 21 years old to participate. Each guest receives a special wristband, a tasting cup, and a map to each tasting location. You have until 6 pm to visit as many of the tasting locations as you want.
For a truly special experience, purchase a VIP Bunny Lounge ticket. VIPs check in at the Bunny Lounge located in the Mini Park on Main. In the VIP lounge, guests enjoy decadent chocolate desserts while sipping mimosas, champagne, and more. Then, don your bunny ears and head out on the tasting tour of downtown Ventura. This event is almost sold out. So, visit the Ventura Spring Wine Walk website to purchase your tickets right now!
Everyone wants to enjoy themselves. And you absolutely should feel free to do so. However, if you plan on drinking, either bring a sober buddy with you or make arrangements to grab an Uber home. Safety should be everyone's top priority.
