Many local residents may know, that Cesar Chavez park does have a lake, and that said lake also has fishing. For you that are new to the area, guess what? Laveen offers fishing and it is located at Cesar Chavez Park.
The attached video is one that shows the stocking of the lake, which is done by Arizona Game and Fish. To fish at the lake, or anywhere in Arizona, you do need to have a fishing license. Best places to get it – Online at Arizona Game and fish, or go to a local sporting goods store………..like big 5 in Laveen.
